What is the RankingScore?
» The RankingScore is an analysis value of the Google ranking of a URL. «
In order to determine the RankingScore, we check the keywords for which the URL can demonstrate a ranking. In doing so, we also take into account how strongly a keyword is contested. The number of ranked keywords is also taken into account. Therefore we determine the keyword strength and the ranking strength as the basis for each relevant keyword. It is not just a simple addition of the number of ranked keywords, but rather an algorithm that incorporates this information, weighted, into the RankingScore calculation.
» The RankingScore is a variable that represents how strongly a URL is ranked on Google. «
The RankingScore provides information about how a specific URL is ranked on Google or the rating that a URL has on Google. The RankingScore does not regard the domain in its entirety, but rather each URL/sub-page separately. The RankingScore thus helps among other things in evaluating the possible quality and strength of a backlink from this specific URL. In order to regard the rating / visibility of an entire domain on Google, the RankingIndex of a domain can be determined.
Important note
A determination of the RankingScore is possible only in the languages German, English, Spanish, French and Italian. Each URL of a domain has a separate RankingScore. Please note that the RankingScore can be reliably compared only within the same language. A RankingScore of 900 in English and 900 in Italian is therefore not equivalent.
The values of the RankingScore and RankingIndex cannot be compared directly to each other. The RankingScore of a URL is a value between 0 and 1000, which judges the ranking quality of a specific URL. The RankingIndex of a domain has no maximum limit, since the visibility of a domain in its entirety also depends on the quantity and quality of the sub pages as well as on the relevant keywords for the domain. Additionally, the RankingIndex has a different basis of calculation than the RankingScore.
